Jaiprakash Narayan Movement

Jai Prakash Narayan fondly called as "Lok Nayak" was an Indian independence activist, theorist and political leader, remembered especially for leading the mid-1970s opposition against Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, for whose overthrow which he started a movement for "Total Revolution".

Shri.Dhirubhai Mehta was a close and trusted confidante of JP and also later against the controversial emergency between 1975 to 1977 often referred to as the darkest phase of Independent India. He relentlessly stood by JP for his ideals and objectives which caused a strong emotional bonding between him and JP.
